This would be a miraculous and transformational speech, but of course it will never be heard. And if it were, it would be attacked as anti-insurance.
Last year during his State of the Union, President Obama had 18 items on a to-do list for Congress. How many of those became law? Just TWO.
The President’s Constitutional roll does not give him the authority to issue a to-do list for Congress and without congress nothing will be done.
Meanwhile, people are swimming in “news” stories, between football, NBA, Kim Kardashian,Kobe Bryant retiring ,MLK Day, weather, slaughters around the world, Charlie H, dreams of McDonalds in Cuba, and of course awards shows and movies. So, is anyone seeing or saying much about the need for productive dialogue, and investing in the american people future ?!!!!
